Data were developed by the Environmental Protection Inspectorate jointly with the National Bureau of Statistics. Starting with 2020, data on proportion of hazardous waste recycled are available, disposed of or landfilled in total hazardous waste generated. Data are elaborated by the Environment Agency through AIS "Waste Management", in accordance with Law 209/2016 on waste, using the List of waste approved by GD 99/2018
