Indicator aims to compare the proportion of various demographic groups (by sex, age, disability and population groups) represented in the public service, with the proportion of these same groups in the national population.

The resulting ratios can be interpreted as follows:

< 1 , no representation or underepresentation in the respective sub-category of the public service

>=1, when the representation in the respective sub-category is higher in the public service than in the working-age population
