Personal Assistance Service is meant for persons with severe disability who need permanent care, companion and supervision from behalf of another person during the process of integration in society on the areas of social protection, labour, medical assistance, training-education, information, and access to infrastructure and other. The social service „Personal Assistance” was established via the Government Decision No.314 dated 23 May 2012 approving the Framework Regulation on Organization and Operation of the Social Service "Personal Assistance” and minimum quality standards. Service providers „Personal assistance” are the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection through the Territorial Social Assistance Agencies and the Agency for the Management of Social Services with High Specialization, as well as the structures responsible for social assistance and child rights protection in the municipality of Chisinau and the Autonomous Territorial Unit of Gagauzia. The financing of the service is carried out from the state budget, through the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection, the budget of the Chisinau municipality and the budget of the autonomous territorial unit of Gagauzia. |
