The indicator reflects the number of ATMs in the entire country for all types of financial institutions, such as: commercial banks and non-bank payment service providers. [The automated teller machine](https://www.bnm.md/bdi/pages/reports/dsp/DSP2.xhtml (internationally called – ATM) is meant for self-servicing of bankcards’ owners, allowing them to withdraw monetary means in cash from the payment accounts, transfers of monetary means, deposit of monetary means in accounts and information regarding the situation on accounts and operations performed through payment cards. |
